C-Bus Systems Integration

VSPL are a long established C-Bus systems installer / integrator who will work closely with you, your architect or M&E consultants to design, install and commission an integrated control system which will work in harmony with your building, improve your living or working environment, reduce your energy consumption and enhance your building's appearance visually.

Remote Monitoring and Management
You can consider C-bus as a kind of "Ethernet for buildings". It's close relativity to Ethernet means that it uses CAT5e cabling and a simple network bridge is all that's required for Ethernet devices to talk to it. Unlike other systems that rely on kludgy proprietory interfaces, C-bus can be controlled, monitored and managed by the very network infrastructure that you will be installing anyway: Ethernet.

This makes things like integration and remote management a snip.

Due to this flexibility that C-Bus provides by default, VSPL can offer a remote monitoring and management service which allows us to reconfigure or create new lighting schemes and scenes on your behalf - or remotely diagnose any issues ensuring a timely resolution without the need for an engineer to visit. This is all backed up by VSPL's extended support packages providing engineers on-site.

Why should you talk to us?
VSPL have been installing and working with C-bus since 2002, making us one of the longest established and most experienced in the UK.

As a C-Bus systems integrator, we have commissioned projects from lighting control for one bedroom flats through to large or multi-tenancy residential buildings and even country estates. We work with the home owner, architect, developer or existing lighting or M&E contractors to design and integrate the whole or part of the solution.

Unlike most installers, we're more than happy to work with your existing appointed contractors or electrician, so that they can do the actual wiring intallation with our help and support alongside everything else they'll be doing for you.To find out more, please speak to our friendly people today. We are happy to give a no-commitment free consultation on residential and commercial projects both large and small throughout the UK. www.clipsal.com

C-Bus is a mature, stable and genuinely "industrial strength" intelligent building management system for both commercial and upscale residential applications, with a worldwide reputation for excellence & reliability.
Increasingly, anywhere that you find large numbers of lights, heating, aircon and other power-hungry devices, is the kind of place that you'll find C-bus.

Controlling energy useage reliably, simply and with panache.

From the largest civil projects, like Wembley Stadium and many of the newer large shopping centres, to the very best addresses in the land, like 10 Downing Street.

C-Bus is designed in to the project. Tailored like a good suit, the end result enables full control of your building environment at the simple touch of a button, via a web page, or from any networked device including your iPhone (the app is free).

There are many types of solution out there claiming similar things, but C-bus is the undisputed class leader. That's a fact. Whether you're planning a one bedroom flat -or a new corporate HQ.

C-Bus commercial office building managementFor your officeThe most obvious infrastructure elements that afford the greatest cost savings through automation are lighting and climate control. And it is here that C-Bus is most often used.

Don't confuse C-bus with some disasterous attempts to do the job in other ways. We've probably all been in a public corridor or rest room when the lights have gone out. C-bus puts the 'intelligence' into smarter buildings.

Based on a simple, scalable and easy to install solution, C-Bus gives you a platform that ensures you get the best out of your building environment. A mature solution you can rely on, C-Bus has been installed in many prestigious developments in the UK, including the ones mentioned above, City of Manchester Stadium, The Imperial War Museum and McLaren F1 HQ.

Many other building management systems end up as a series of kludges. C-Bus simplifies management through being designed from the gound up to do the job using a proven system that has already become the de-facto standard in the high-technology Pacific Rim. Providing a centralised platform for your lighting control which can be expanded to integrate your HVAC, power monitoring and energy metering requirements is a good place to start on any modern building project.

Whether your requirements are to control a single boardroom, your whole building or to provide centralised facility management for your global locations, C-Bus is designed to fit your needs. Saving Energy C-Bus reduces lighting and energy costs. Simple actions like having a system that constantly provides the correct working light level, no more and no less, translates to big energy savings. C-bus can automatically adjust or profile your task lights to augment ambient light seamlessly. This means that on a bright sunny day, your lights need not be burning away wastefully at 100% brightness and ensures that the correct lights are switched off at the end of the working day.

C-Bus delivers this energy saving through intelligent automation that really works, coupled with the use of "light switches", schedules and even advanced "occupancy sensors" that make a standard PIR look positively stone age. Studies have shown that these occupancy devices can be responsible for energy savings of up to 60% on their own. Just like any normal building, local control via wall units (equivalent to light switches) enable the setting and scheduling of different lighting schemes. Remote management via networked devices allows the assigning of individual or global policies for the building as a whole.

C-Bus can be readily integrated with such industry standard protocols such as BACnet, LON, Modbus, and OPC. Alternatively, the protocol is also open to third parties who wish to integrate proprietary systems.

Unlike competing systems that have come from the home market and tried to grow up, C-bus has come from the worlds largest civil engineering projects and learned how to think small for residential. It's the absolute pinnacle of stability.

And the only limit in designing it so that it fits your organisations needs.. is your imagination!

C-Bus lighting designFor the homeDomestically, C-bus brings all of the proven reliability and efficiency that commercial users expect, but adds the most truly superb range of elegant switches and other hardware for home users. For once, you can specify designer wall switches etc that all members of the household will love the look and feel of.

C-Bus switch in glass (saturn)Their range of glass switches in particular has set the standard for years that others have tried to follow.

Apart from sheer style, it brings a lot more. Nothing can compare with the sheer joy of having your house work effortlessly around the needs of you and your family. And then changed when you change. Without us ever even needing to call round. All the while, you're saving lots of energy and enjoying the difference that structured lighting design can bring.

With C-bus, all this is uniquely coupled to a system that is actually quicker (and therefore cheaper) to install on new-build or extensive refurbishments than other systems --and even 'traditional' wiring!

We're even more than happy to work with your appointed contractors or electrician, so that they can do the actual installation with our help and support alongside everything else they'll be doing for you.

Every situation, house and customer is different so why not contact us to see what we can bring to your project? We promise a friendly, open and enthusiastic collaboration.
