QuantaStor Scale-out (File Storage)
In HPC environments, performance and flexibility are everything. Some workloads require direct parallel filesystem access for maximum throughput, while others necessitate NFS and SMB access, allowing researchers to analyse and share data from desktops and laptops. We integrate servers with Seagate storage hardware and install QuantaStor software from OSNexus to provide all three. We can assign directories and files to specific storage tiers - flash for hot data, hybrid for capacity - without the manual complexity of moving data between systems.
